Galactic Gumway’s Main Entrance
“She disappeared. Again.”, says General Doublin.
Commander Cooper stands in contemplation knowing the whereabouts of Queen Xela, knowing the nature of her ways.
“There was only one, maybe two galaxies of the Earthling where she had gone.”
Her palace has felt her disappearance before but not like this. Her servants have gossiped around all the way up to the High Palace to Grandma Ellcy. What was Commander Cooper to do. There was an sig event.
Now an sig event on top of an sig event.
“General Doublin, what is the status on the grid?
“Nothing has changed since the last signal we got Commander Cooper.”
“What about the intergalactic wave grid?”
“The IWG has been quiet as well.”
“Hmm…strange in light of the sig events, don’t you think?”
“Well sir, I’m not sure if we have, uhh, given the announcement of the second one.”
“See, Queen Xela wasn’t sure if it was a second one or one of the galaxy kings chasing the Snote-4E7. This morning, I arrived at the palace, and she was gone. The night before she was talking about the sig events, this Earthling and the foundation of the galaxies, but she has been doing that for days.” (Pause)
“General Doublin, would you accompany me to her garden? We reframe from using the garden in this way but perhaps we should make an exception. Maybe that is what she would have wanted us to do.”
“She had planted a Fuli plant in her own garden from Ia. She told me the night before how it was seeded over generations and was the root to her visions. I have never seen it or been to her garden. These are rumors from her garden caretakers. They are very quiet about the watering schedule. We might have to ask Grandma Ellcy, but then we must not startle her majesty and look incompetent.”
So, should we ask the garden caretakers??
I don’t think they know the Queen is missing. We can’t just shout the Queen is missing.
“She could be on another solstice surf, who keeps her surf schedule?? Let’s tele her.”
“343 Hz…Sound beaming in 3,2,1.
“Wischhhh, Wischh, Tcish, Tchishhh”
“Yes, General Doublin. It’s slow…should we tele the solstice time keepers?”
“Yes, let’s do that…I don’t know their name, how do we address one of the time keepers?? Well…maybe hello time keeper sir, mam, should we guess the species, don’t they rotate with the planets??”
“Ok, let’s just go for it. Queen Xela always does this to me…”
Commander Cooper waves at Analyst Y, a floating bioluminescent tulip jellyfish to come closer.
“I think I’m going to call them Time Keeper Sols”, whispering to General Doublin.”
“Analyst Y, do me a favor and tele wave Time Keeper Sols.”
“Yes, General Doublin, let me see where the planets are at this time, a few seconds…”

On the screen appears the planets in current rotations.
“The velocities of the galaxy’s summation will give us the tele waves.”
“What if she’s not in the GG anymore?”
I’m sure they can tell us when she left…
“Tela, Tela, Tela…”
“Beep..Tela…Beep…”
“Ello?”
“Hi!! Is this Sols Time Keeper??”
“Why yes, you tele me, didn’t you??”
“Yes, I apologize, I will keep this short. We were hoping you could share with us the time schedule of Queen Xela’s solstice surfs.”
“I can tell you when but not where.”
“I understand, can you share with us when she left?? And when she will be back to the GG?”
“I can tell you she left about a quarter after the first light and will be back before the setting of the next solstice.”
Commander Cooper wags in excitement for the anticipation of some information but then quickly realize he has no idea what solstice Sols Time Keeper was on…

“Can you tell me what solstice?! Hello?! Hello?!”
Tele wave fades…
“Oh, that’s right she only surf in the summer solstice. I must have sounded like an idiot in front of Sols Time Keeper.”
General Doublin giggles in silence and places his hand on Commander Cooper’s paw in support. At least you were brave enough to do that. General Doublin curls his lips in grateful bliss as he didn’t have to say anything.
The setting of the next summer solstice…
“Hm… should we wait or somehow get her garden caretakers to let us have a peek?”
The two pace back and forth, clanking the ship’s panels with offbeat taps and stomps.
“So, you are saying we should wait for one of the caretakers to show up and ask them if we could a take a peek…you think they will say yes?!”
“No, of course not, that is why they are so quiet.”
“Maybe we can leave a note asking and explaining the situation. If we wait at the entrance, we could be waiting for a long time.”
General Doublin stops mid pace.
“Or…we could fly to Ia, seed the same Fuli plant, run it through a million something generation and essentially capturing the same vision.”
Commander Cooper pauses in awe.
“Not a bad idea…but not accurate enough…She told me that was only a part of the creation of her make up… the Fuli plant from her garden is from the same descendent. (short PAUSE)
We have to get to that plant!”
“Incoming call…”
“Is it Queen Xela??”, Commader Cooper jumps as he turns to look at the tele radio box specifically used to reach her.
“No, it’s coming from the IWG.”
“Accept.”
“Call Accepted, Commander Molar”
“Good morning, Commander Cooper, is the Queen in?”
“She is in her garden…how are you today?”
“Well, we were to discuss the sig event or should we say events…”
Commander Cooper stiffens his hind legs and paws. He looks over at the telegram. The hologram of Commander Molar looks and starts walking around Commander Cooper in the same fashion. Commander Molar is the residing chief of the Malic Galaxy, the galaxy known for its dense mass. Around the same size as the average ray of Euripa but denser than the star by a factor of 28. Also, a great source for Malachite mineral used in all the décor of the planet.
Commander Cooper thinks to himself…
How did he know of the second sig event?
Why is he asking about it, the GG is enlisted of such tasks…
What purpose would it serve him; sig chasing has been banned…
The two continues to circle around each other with increasing squinting glare… of suspicion.
Commander Molar breaks the silence,
“We know there is a second sig event, we have our own analysts…”
“Commander Molar, as you know sig chasing is banned, why would you have analysts for such tasks?”
“Well, considering the sudden and strange characteristics of the Snote-4E7, we wanted to be aware if it came to our grid.”
“Understandable.”
“I wanted to offer my services to the queen. Will you tell her I called? I will follow up again. The Snote-4E7 has not touched the Malic grid but the second sig event was detected by our grid makers. Until next time.”
“Tele disconnects”
Commander Cooper and General Doublin side-eye each other and in unison rolled their eyes back to the dilemma with slightly more intensity.
